Native Gardens

August 6,2021 - August 22, 2021

In this brilliant comedy, cultures and gardens clash, turning well-intentioned neighbors into feuding enemies.

Pablo and Tania have just purchased a home next to Frank and Virginia, a well-established Washington, DC couple with a prize-worthy English garden. But an impending barbeque for Pablo’s colleagues and a delicate disagreement over a long-standing fence line soon spirals into an all-out border dispute, exposing both couples’ notions of race, taste, class and privilege.

This show has NO intermission.

NOTE: At this time Coastal Rep's management and it's Board have not made a determination regarding mask usage.  Watch this space...

Brimming "with [David] Sedaris' wicked humor" (Chicago magazine), this "sweetly snarky holiday treat“ (Daily Herald) is perfect for those who prefer their eggnog spiked.
