CRKT Presents: The Little Mermaid Jr
May 14, 2021 - May 16, 2021
Journey "under the sea" with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney's The Little Mermaid JR, adapted from Disney's Broadway production and the motion picture (featuring the enormously popular Academy Award-winning music and delightfully charming book and lyrics). Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, the story is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.
This will be a virtual performance from our young actors, presented by CRKT.
June 11 - June 27, 2021
The play centers on two characters, Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III. They have lived separate lives for many years. But as they recount their dreams and disappointments by reading their letters to each other, we see a mosaic of two lives woven together in love and friendship.
Our three casts:
June 11-13, 2021: Lauren Rhodes and Jaap Tuinman
June 18-20: Carolyn Ford Compton and Louis Schilling
June 25-27: Mystery Guest Star and Danny Martin
"Love Letters keeps the audience sighing for the tenderness of a long romance and laughing from all the funny stories that come from that romance."
---The Harvard Crimson

In this brilliant comedy, cultures and gardens clash, turning well-intentioned neighbors into feuding enemies.
Pablo and Tania have just purchased a home next to Frank and Virginia, a well-established Washington, DC couple with a prize-worthy English garden. But an impending barbeque for Pablo’s colleagues and a delicate disagreement over a long-standing fence line soon spirals into an all-out border dispute, exposing both couples’ notions of race, taste, class and privilege.

A down-on-his-luck playwright's student tells him he has written the perfect suspense play and will bring it to the playwright's Connecticut home tonight. The suspense over whether the playwright will kill the student and take credit for his play forms the crux of Ira Levin's thriller.
“Two-thirds a thriller and one-third a devilishly clever comedy… Suspend your disbelief and be delighted. Scream a little. It’s good for you.” - Cue Magazine.
NOTE: If the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival is reinstated, the weekend of the 15-17th will be postponed until the next weekend of the 22-24th.
